If the Sahabah رضي الله عنه saw us today what would they say...

If the Sahabah رضي الله عنه had to see us today.
What do you think they would say?
What would they say about our ways.
I think they’ll be disgusted at how far we’ve strayed.
I think they would cry tears of blood at our blatant disobedience to our Creator and our Nabi صلى الله على وسلم

What would Fatimah رضي الله عنها leader of the women of Jannah and one of the most Modest women say if she saw the dressing of Muslim women today?
What would she say about the way we obsess over fashion.
What would she say about all the make up, tight fitting clothing, perfume and hair colours and styles.
What would she say about our perception of modesty?
What would she say about the immodest selfies being uploaded onto social media?
Ask yourself , honestly do you think she’d be happy?
Do you think she would ask us to join her in Jannah?
On the contrary I think she would want us as far away from her as possible.

What would Abu Bakr and Umar رضي الله عنه say if they saw the Muslim men of today ?
With their clean shaven faces, ridiculous hair styles, and pants falling below their ankles.
What would they say about their obsession with sports.
Do you think they would stand for such things?
They would wage war on us, for trampling on the Sunnah of their Beloved Nabi.
What would Uthmaan رضي الله عنه say about their immoral behaviour? About their immodesty?
Do you think any of these amazing personalities would be pleased??

Every one of the Sahabah would be disgusted at us.
With the way we’ve become. The way we dress, the way we think, the things we do.
Imagine if they had to see how freely men and women mingle and interact with each other. On social media, at functions, universities etc.
Imagine if they had to see our obsession with immoral movies and soap operas.
Imagine the anger and disappointment they would feel?
What would they say if they saw all the selfies and photography being taken and posted all over social media.
What would they say about all the Zina and haraam relationships.

My heart breaks to think of how Disappointed and ashamed these great personalities would be of us if they were to look upon us today.
To see how much we have strayed.
How much we justify our wrongs, how we disregard Quraan and Sunnah.
How we disobey Allah Ta’aala so easily.

They, the Sahabah رضي الله عنه feared Allah Ta'aala so much they repented so much and they strived to do good even though they were promised Jannah, it did not make them complacent.
We on the other hand have not been promised Jannah, we haven’t been guaranteed protection from Jahannam and the torment of the grave YET, we STILL continue as if we’re immortal or as if we are safe from Allah Ta'aalas punishment.
The Sahabah رضي الله عنه left the perfect path for us to follow.
Nabi صلى الله على وسلم said that they are like guiding stars, whichever of them you follow you will be guided.
Yet we still insist on following the western world!
Why are we so dazzled by the dunya..??!! it is temporary!
One day we will be questioned about everything we did.
Our sins will be brought and made to testify against us! Yet we still carry on sinning and sinning and sinning.

Why cant we strive to live like the Sahabah instead of like celebrities?
Yes we will never reach that calibre, and we’ll never be able to imitate them fully but we can try to the best of our ability.
We can follow Sunnah as much as possible.
We can abstain from Haraam as much as possible.
We can stop all this nonsense, We can stop imitating the kuffaar! WE HAVE TO STOP…

Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthmaan, Ali, Khalid bin Waleed, Talha bin Ubaydullah , Abu Ubaydah bin Al Jarrah رضي الله عنه
Khadijah, Fatimah, Aaisha and Asma bint Abu Bakr, Umme Sulaym رضي الله عنها
Etc etc I could go on mentioning names forever.
We all hear and read about these personalities.
Don’t you yearn to be with them on the day of Qiyamah? To be united with them in Jannah??
This wont happen unless we love them and follow their example. You will be with who you love on the day of Qiyamah.
And if we carry on like how we are, then we are going to be raised on the day of Qiyamah with the Kuffar and accursed sport stars ,celebrities etc.
Is that really what we want????????

We can't be sinless. But we can sin less

Nowdays we are ruled by our nafs|desires, very few of us are willing to fight it. We give in to our every whim and we allow Shaytaan to deceive us into believing we still have long to live. We can always repent later.
As a result we've lost our identity as Muslims.
And now you find that everything we do is imitating the Kuffaar
Our dressing, our lifestyle , our whole outlook has changed, We've become obsessed with following trends, be it in fashion , décor , hairstyles, functions etc.
We're human so its normal to get drawn in and captivated by these things but its not ok to get so caught up and obsessed that you forget that you're Muslim and you change your life to fit in with the trends and you start wearing immodest clothing simply to follow fashion.
Its not Haraam to have things of Dunya. Its not Haraam to have wealth.
But we've totally lost the plot, we've made it the be all and end all. We've reached a stage where we are now no longer content with anything.
we've allowed the dunya to enter our hearts.
We've attached success to dunya, we think only the rich are successful, the famous are successful etc.
But true success lies in finding Allah, in following the Sunnah of Rasoolullah صلى الله على وسلم.
We need to detach ourselves from dunya and its attractions.
Yes we are all weak. but we can all try in small ways to change.
Change does not happen overnight.
But we have to start somewhere.
Maybe by taking out Sadaqah everyday even if it is one or two rands.
Or by reading two extra rakaah of Salaah.
Or by helping someone out.
Or by lowering your gaze.
Or by forgiving someone who hurt you, for the pleasure of Allah.
All theses things are easy to do, and it’s a start.
We can then gradually increase our good actions and decrease our sins with the help of Allah
If we are unable to increase in good actions then we should at least try to stay away from sin.
We are surrounded by temptations, everywhere you turn there is forbidden thing staring you in the face.
So staying away wont be easy, it will be a tough battle fighting off your nafs and shaytaan but Insha'Allah through that you will attain the pleasure and love of Allah and ultimately Jannah.
And that makes everything worth it…

“It is explained in a hadith when Allah created Jannah, then He sent Jibreel A.S to look at it. He came back and said “Oh Allah, by your honour, whoever hears of it will not live without (trying to gain) entry into it i.e. after listening and having conviction in the pleasures, ease and joys of Jannah, who will not try his utmost best to enter it. After that, Allah surrounded it with 'difficulties,' such as performing Salaah, keeping fasts, going out for jihad, and performing Hajj etc. If you do theses then you will gain entry into Jannah. Hadhrat Jibreel A.S was told, 'Now go and see.'
He said, “Now, Oh Allah, I fear that no one will be able to enter it.” Similarly, when Allah created Jahannam, then he sent Hadhrat Jibreel A.S to look at it. Upon seeing the punishment, calamities, filth and difficulties, he said “ Oh Allah, by your honour, whoever hears of its punishment will never go there.”
Allah covered it with the veil of desires, adultery, drinking, oppression, going against divine injunctions etc. Hadhrat Jibreel A.S was told to have a look at it again, he said, “ oh Allah, I now fear that none will be saved from it.”

May Allah protect us all from Jahannam and grant us the ability to do those actions which are pleasing to Him, forgive our shortcomings and  grant us entry into Jannah through His Mercy. Aameen

Abode of my Heart

There's an ache in my heart and it won't go away.
And I find myself drowning in misery, choking back cries.
Allowing my mind to pave a stairway, I float away on a blissful cloud of thought.

I wish to be in the blessed city of Madinah, surrounded by its light.
I wish to gaze upon the Green Dome, oh what a beautiful sight.

I wish to walk in its blessed streets enjoying the serenity.
Letting my every fear and worry float away.

I wish to walk upon Mount Uhud, imagining the battle that took place on its sand.
Almost hearing the neighing of the armies horses and clashing of their swords.

I wish to eat dates from the palm trees of Madinah, a fruit more delicious I have never tasted.

My heart is restless.
My eyes blinded by tears.
How I despise these miles that separate me from my Beloved ﷺ and his beautiful city.

I close my eyes, and disappear into my thoughts once more.

Oh how wonderful would it be, if I lived in Madinah.
Imagine being the neighbour of Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ.

Being able to visit Him ﷺ. and His companions رضي الله عنه everyday.
That would be a dream come true.

If I lived in Madinah I would have
no reason to be sad.
And if ever I was, I'd go sit in Masjidun Nabawi and my sadness will melt away like ice on a hot day.
I would leave smiling and at peace, because how can a person be sad after sitting in the company of the Beloved Of Allah ﷺ.

Imagine how wonderful it would be if I die in Madinah with
لا اله الله محمد رسول الله
on my lips.

To be buried in Baqeeh amongst the Sahabah رضي الله عنه,  the best people to walk the earth after the Ambiya.

And to be raised on Judgment day with
Rasoolullah ﷺ and His companions.
That is what I call success.

My eyes spring open and my heart shatters as I come back to reality.

I wish my thoughts had carried me to Madinah.
But Instead I am left yearning for it thousands of miles away.
The only bit of solace I find is in knowing He ﷺ. receives my greetings even though I am not close by.
And I will continue begging Allah to fulfil my wish and allow Me to be from amongst the residents of Madinah and to be one of the fortunate ones who die in Madinah.
Aameen.

اللهم صل على محمد كلما ذكره الذاكرون و كلما غفل عن ذكره الغافلون

'O Allah! Shower blessings on Muhammad and his children whenever he is remembered by those who remember him, and shower blessings on Muhammad and family whenever he is not remembered by the negligent, and grant him peace constantly in abundance'.

We wonder why there's no Rain

Why No Rain?
The youth find Hayaa to hard, Hijab and modest clothing a thing of the past.
Immodesty now rules the masses, segregation of sexes no longer holds a place in society.
And then we wonder why there is no Rain…

We need to celebrate everything , let's have a party. Birthday, Anniversary, Bridal and Baby Showers.
Who cares if it costs more than a grand, who cares if it's waste. Who cares if it's haram.  We’ll justify it all we can.
And then we wonder why there's no Rain.

We've discarded the Sunnah, left our Qur’an on the shelf, forgotten our Salaah, Don't pay Zakaah. We fast only if compulsory but lack true sincerity.
And then we wonder why there's no Rain.

We disrespect or elders and parents, we’re uncompassionate toward our young.
And then we wonder why there’s no Rain.

Girls have to go out to study, no matter the harms they'll encounter by stepping out of their homes.
No matter the sins committed, education is to important.
And then, we wonder why there’s no Rain.

Boyfriend, girlfriend holding hands, they don't realise that shaytaans close behind.
Rejoicing at their disobedience to their creator.
And then we wonder why there’s no Rain.

Our lives are based on western culture and trends, Sunnah is to outdated ( Na Uthu Billah).
We have to dress like them to, no matter the cost. Wasting thousands on items we then hardly wear.
But we still wonder why there's no Rain?

We’re always looking for new gossip, always backbiting. Always seeking to expose others faults not even verifying.
And then we wonder why there’s no Rain.

We've become ungrateful. Taking everything for granted.
Showered with bounties, but how often do we say Alhamdulillah.
And then, we wonder why there’s no Rain.

Music and Dancing have become prevalent. Such blatant disobedience.
And then we wonder why there’s no Rain.

Picture taking is a norm. Even though it was forbidden by our Beloved Prophet.
Immodest selfies posted all over social media.
And then we wonder why there’s no Rain.

Weddings have become ridiculously extravagant. The amount of Haraam and wastage is disgusting.
And then we wonder why there’s no Rain.

No one wants to remove the televisions from their homes.
Sports had taken over our brain and heart..

Have we become so blind?
Do we not see these glaring mistakes of ours?
How much longer will we continue living like this???

I've only mentioned a few, but there are countless other things taking place.
We have brought these conditions of drought and heat onto ourselves.
We need to stop, and introspect.
We need to change our lives and we need to turn to Allah.
We need to make Abundant SINCERE Istighfaar.
We have to make sure we don't return to the same sins again.

- Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves (13-21) -

The Bigger Picture

Maybe it's not about the melody, maybe it's about the words.

Maybe it's not about what you said but rather the effect it had.

Maybe it's not about what you did yesterday but rather what you will do today and tomorrow.

Maybe it's not about the gift you gave but rather the thought and intention behind it.

Maybe it's not about the journey but rather the  destination.

Maybe it's not about the story, maybe it's about the moral behind it.

Maybe it's not about the amount of times you apologize but rather the amount of times you are sincere.

Maybe it's not about the mistake but the lesson learned from it.

Maybe how many times you fall doesn’t matter, maybe the amount of times you pick yourself up and carry on matters.

Maybe it's not about the amount of times you failed, but the amount of times you carried on trying.

Maybe it's not about the action but rather the intention.
Maybe, just maybe there's a bigger picture.

Maybe we need to read between the lines.

Maybe we need to stop assuming.

Maybe we need to be more grateful.

Maybe everything is not as it seems.

Maybe, it's the small things that count….

Oh Allah Forgive Me

I sit and contemplate, all I have done.
Haunted by my sins.
Unable to shake of the all wrong I have done.
Unable to forget the pain caused to my heart and soul.
Silently I weep, for all the times I had committed a vice, thinking no one saw me in the darkness of the night.
I was weakened by my desires, unable to fight.
How could I be so shameless, fearing not the wrath of my Rabb.
I immersed myself in activities that were useless.
Consuming valuable time that I will never get back.
And now when I look back, all I feel is regret.
I have disobeyed my Allah for so long, I had neglected to fulfil commandments that would only benefit.
I collapse, letting my tears gush forth.
How could I have been so careless, so uncaring of the one who Cared for me most.
I had turned away,
Yet He still showered on me His mercy.
I was ungrateful, unfaithful  and unmindful.
Still, He protected me, Looked after me.
Not once did He abandon me.

رب اغفر لي.
Oh my lord forgive me.
I have oppressed my soul,
I had been enslaved by the world.
Now all I care for is your Love,
All I yearn for is your Jannah.

رب اغفر لي
Oh my Lord forgive me.
I have been misled by temporary pleasures.
Blinded by desire.
Drowning in things unpleasant.
But now I turn to you in submission.
Begging for your forgiveness.

رب اغفر لي
Oh my Lord forgive me.
Without you I am nothing.
If You reject me none will accept me.
You are the most kind.
I will never stop beseeching you, nor will I lose hope in your mercy.

رب اغفر لي
Oh my Lord forgive me.
I am but a humble slave of yours.
Oh Allah dispatch my fears.
Accept my tears in your path.

رب اغفر لي
Oh My Lord Forgive Me.
Guide me.
Protect me.
Accept me for Deen.
Let Quraan be my companion
and let Sunnah my be my way of life.

My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who enters my house believing, and the believing men and the believing women.

Aameen Ya Rabb

Setting Some Real Goals

You know whats real goals?

To have a love like the love between Hadhrat Khadija رضي الله عنها and Nabi ﷺ.

A love like the love shared between Hadhrat Ali رضي الله عنه
And Hadhrat Faatimah رضي الله عنها.

A love like that of Hadhrat Zainab رضي الله عنهما and Abul Aas رضي الله عنه...

A love like Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم and Hadhrat Aaisha رضي الله عنها shared.

That was pure love.
They were faced by challenge after challenge yet they remained strong.

They were each other's pillars of strength.
And thers one reason for all of this.
They based their lives on attaining the pleasure of Allah.
They followed His laws and the Sunnah devoutly.
Never questioning.
Because they trusted and knew Allah knows what is best for them.
They were always happy with what he decreed.

They were not wealthy, they did not live in mansions. Or own loads if cars. Or have lots of clothing and jewelry.

They had nothing.
Yet they were happy.
Because they had something better than wealth. They had found Allah.
And He sufficed for them.

When looking for spouses they didn't give preference to the wealth or looks, rather they gave preference to Piety.
They looked for pious Allah fearing partners.
They looked for partners rich in knowledge of Deen.
And they found contentment in this.
They found true happiness.
They formed successful marriages and bonds.

Why is it today we have set such shallow goals.
We have real heroes in Islamic history.
Real stories of love and of life.
Yet we have decided to look up to disgraceful individuals. Celebs, sports stars etc.

We no longer look for pious Spouses.
Spouses with good character.
Spouses who have Love for Allah and Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Spouses who are pursuing or are rich in Deeni knowledge.
All of which will benefit you in Deen, Dunya AND Aakhirah!

But we prefer Wealth, looks and secular knowledge.
None of which will benefit us in Aakhirah.

There is nothing wrong with looking for someone who is good looking, or has wealth but we shouldn't make it a priority. We should first look at their Piety.

And it should not be that we turn a Pious suitor down simply because he is not wealthy or handsome.

A person who possess and acts upon Deeni knowledge will always be rich.
And a person with good character is never ugly.

May Allah guide us all and keep us on the straight path.
And may He grant all of us who are looking to get married pious Spouses.
Spouses who will strengthen our Deen.
Someone who will be good for us in Deen, Dunya and Aakhirah.
And someone who will guide us to Jannah.
With Aafiyah.
Aameen Ya Rabb.

Do Not Discard Your Deen

The Sahabah رضي الله عنه went through so much torture and persecution after accepting Islam, yet they remained steadfast. They didn't falter, they didn't forsake their Deen.

Sumayya رضي الله عنه was the first martyr in Islam. She was tortured along with her family and was killed when Abu Jahal pushed his spear into the most private part of her body.

Bilal bin Rabaah رضي الله عنه was left on the hot Arabian sand, at the hottest time of the day, with boulders on his chest but he kept saying
"Ahad, Ahad" Allah is one. Allah is one..

Khabaab bin Arat رضي الله عنه was dragged across flaming pieces of wood, the only thing that put out the fire was the fat, blood and pus from his back. And he used to get beaten on his head with hot iron rods.

Yet none of them gave up their Deen.
They held on to it.
It was the most beloved thing to them.
People mocked them.
Insulted them.
Abused them.
They were opressed, and beaten.
Many lived in fear of there life.
They lived in poverty, many a time going days without any food.
Still they remained steadfast. They believed in Allah. Their faith was unwavering, they never questioned Allahs decree. They accepted every condition He sent upon them.
They persevered patiently.
And as a result their reward is Paradise. Guaranteed.
رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُُ
Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him.

They (The Sahabah) are real heroes.
They are real role models.
People we should aspire to be like.
We should name our children after them, and we should teach our children about the great personalities they are named after from a young age.

We're so busy "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" but we don't bother to learn about the Sahabah.
How far we have strayed from their example?
If you look at the Muslims today, we have become so weak.
We are willing to give our Deen away so quickly.

Someone just has to make a comment about our Hijab or Beard and its discarded.
We've reached such a time that Muslims are actually shy to practice Islam openly.
They are apologetic.
They give preference to the dress and ways of the kuffar over the ways taught by Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم and the Sahabah رضي الله عنه.

Then they say "Imaan is in the heart" or "Don't judge, you don't know what's in our hearts"

They don't seem to understand, if you had true Imaan in your heart you are supposed to HATE the ways of the kuffaar,!

You are supposed to embrace your Deen unapologetically.

You have to defend it unwaveringly.

If you really had Iman in your heart you WOULDN'T WANT to imitate sports stars and acters, actresses.
You would take the Sahabah as role models.

My heart is crying for the youth.
And for their parents for not correcting and guiding them!

Qiyaamah is so close.
The major signs can be seen everywhere.
But still we are blinded by our whims, fancies and desires.
People are dying everyday.
Still we think we'll live forever.

We are so easily swayed by Music, Movies, Sports etc.
When dajjal makes his appearance, will we be able to resist following him?

Wake up Oh Ummah.
Time is running out.

Sort out your priorities.
Put your Deen first.
Follow Sunnah.
Follow the footsteps of the Sahabah رضي الله عنه..

Take lessons from their lives and stories.

Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم said something to the effect that "My Sahabah are like guiding stars, whichever of them you follow you will be guided".

If we don't use these shining stars as guides surely we will get lost..

The clock is ticking.
Change now...
Before its to late..

Peace Despite The Pain

And suddenly a sense of peace descends despite the pain.
There's a light at the end of this tunnel, an end to this unbearable strain.
A new train is soon arriving, this one filled with blessing and mercy.
For verily He has promised ease after every difficulty.
And we will have happiness after we experience misery.
Today you may have felt like you cannot go on, you felt like falling, never to stand again.
But you have to realise failing is not an option.
Every test sent by Allah has a solution.
He will reveal it at the perfect moment.
Never doubt, never lose hope for surely Allah does not abandon those who hold on to His rope.
Trials are temporary.
So endure them with a beautiful patience, and Allah will shower you with His endless bounty.
Do not resort to sin, thinking it will rid you of your pain. That is the biggest mistake we make.
The cure is found only in remembrance of Your Lord. Raise your hands and make dua, plead and beg your most Merciful Allah.
Fall before Him in prostration, let your tears flow without restriction.
Knock at His door without hesitation.
Your heart might feel like its breaking, but never give up, begging your Lord for salvation.
Soon Oh burdened soul Allah will lift your sorrows and He will replace it with something so Amazing, the sweetness of which will leave you speechless.
Then you will desire to be tested again just so that you may receive the reward at the end.
And you will see that your perseverance proved fruitful, and your adherence to His commands did not go unnoticed.
Because indeed He is the most kind, never leaving anyone behind.
Your Heart will soar, and you will feel a happiness more beautiful then you have ever felt before.
You will find yourself smiling, constantly praising Allah.
You will forget that you were ever sad, you will never again grieve.
Because you know that Allah never deprives those who truly believe.
You are now stronger then ever before, strengthened by His love.
This love is like none other, it will never leave you broken nor will it ever hurt.
Never let go of this Love no matter what difficulties you may face.
Because without it you will be nothing but a depressed longing soul, wandering aimlessly in a never ending void of darkness, constantly suffering in sadness.

So make sure you never abandon your link and connection with Allah, for it is the key to your eternal Happiness.

What is Love

What is love?
Love is that feeling you get after you make dua, knowing that Allah heard every word.

Love is that feeling you get when your dua is accepted and you can't stop praising Allah.

Love is that feeling of peace that washes over you when you listen to or read Quraan.

Love is that feeling you get, and the way your heart skips a beat when you read or hear about the life of Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم and his companions رضي الله عنه.

Love is the feeling you get and the way tears flow freely from your eyes when you see the Baitullah for the first time.

Love is the feelings you get when you miss Madinah Munawwara so much you feel like your heart is going to shatter.

Love is that feeling you get when you look out the window, and you see Allah's beautiful creation.

Love is that feeling you get after you have eaten a delicious meal.

Love is that feeling you get when you realise how blessed you are.

Love is that feeling you get when see a baby smile.

Love is that feeling you get when after a long tiring day you climb into a comfortable bed.

Love is that feeling you get when you say Alhamdulillah.

Love is that feeling you get when someone tells you Jazakallah Khair, you the best.

Love is an unexplainable feeling, every person experiences everyday.
We just don't realise it because we look for Love in all the wrong places and in all the wrong things.

Love is found in everything you do everyday of your life. You just have to pay more attention.
There are so many different kinds of love, and so many different ways of loving.

Things We Forgot About Fashion

Its really saddening how some Muslimahs today are willing to sell their Jannah for the price of Fashion and following trends...

Revealing and tight clothing are now what they choose to wear. Sometimes some wear a Scarf, but more often then not with the camel hump under.

They absolutely cannot live without make up, applying thick layers onto their face before stepping out of the house.
Oh, and Allah forbid they should forget to douse themselves in perfume.

And if you are a Niqabi then that doesn't mean you havto miss out. Nopes.
Now days even Niqabis and girls from good pious families get caught up in these very fitnas.
Apply extra eye make up since thats the only part visible through your Niqab. Make sure to get a half Niqab if you gonna wear your shades and of course don't forget the Perfume and Camel hump. And you all good to go.

Oh my Muslim Sister do you not see how much of Sin you are committing?
Are you pleased with the fact that the displeasure of Allah and Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم follows you wherever you go?
Are you really so willing to sell the Infinite Gardens of Jannah for this temporary dunya??

Islaam respects and honours woman.
And here you are throwing that away.

At this point you might be wondering
"What have i done wrong? What is she going on about? I don't see anything haraam in all the above mentioned things! "

Well, allow me to enlighten you my Beloved Sister.

Let's start with the clothing.
By wearing revealing & tight clothing, not only are you degrading yourself, you are also earning the displeasure and curse of Allah.
And, Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم is narrated to have said something to the effect "A woman who reveals her body or even wears tight fitting clothing won't come within 500 years of the smell of Jannah"

As Muslimahs we are commanded that when we leave our homes we have to wear loose clothing that does not reveal our bodies shape nor reveal any of our skin. A Muslimah has to make sure every part of her is covered, the only part of her body that can be exposed is her hands (upto the wrists) and her feet.
We are also not supposed to wear bright coloured or extremely fancy clothing with lots of beads etc.
Keep it simple so you do not attract the attention and stares of strange men.
We need to understand, the above is not to oppress us. On the contrary, it is meant to liberate us and to honour us, by protecting us from the unsavoury Glances of non - mehram Men. Our beauty is for our Husbands, and ourselves. We are not some cheap item that everyone can view at leisure.
We have to conceal and protect ourselves, because we're worth it right?
And by covering ourselves not only do we protect ourself, we also earn the pleasure of Allah and we are rewarded tremendously. Insha'Allah...

And to all the sisters who leave their hair open.
I have one question for you.
WHY?
Why do you CHOOSE not to wear a Hijab.
Hijab is the crown of a Muslimah.
Why do you voluntarily discard it?
By discarding it not only are you throwing away your crown and status of Queen of Islam, you are blatantly disobeying the command of Allah & Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Oh my Sister it is such a big sin to expose your hair to Non-mehrams.
Here is proof that it is Haram and haramful to yourself and more so for your Aakhirah.
A question posed to an honorable Mufti.

Q: What's the punishment of a women/girl not wearing a scarf ?

A. It appears in a hadith narrated by Hazrat Ayesha (radhiyallahu anha) that Rasoolullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
Any woman who removes her scarf or shawl outside her home, has violated the barrier of sanctity between her and Her Lord (Reported by Imam Bayhaqi).
Once the barrier of sanctity is removed, it means such a woman is no longer safe from Allah’s punishment.
Hazrat Ayesha, the narrator of this hadith, used to evict women from her home if they came to her with transparent scarves or shawls through which the hair could be seen.
Another hadith states that on the Day of Judgment those women will be in great pain who were dressed yet naked in this world.
This means they wore transparent garments. Imagine then what the position will be of women who wore no covering at all.
For them will be greater hardship on the day of Judgement. In one hadith it is stated that Allah has cursed the looker and the one who is looked at.
The one who is looked at is the woman who exposes her body in public for people to see and admire. From this we learn that the woman who walks out bareheaded is cursed by Allah.
Ulema have mentioned that a woman who goes out bareheaded is prone to the effects and possession of Jinn.
And Allah knows best.
Mufti Siraj Desai

So please my sisters, cover yourself properly.
Protect yourself from Allah's wrath & curse .

And then about the Camel hump under the Hijab.
Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم has been reported to have said something to this effect
"There are two types of the people of Hell whom I have not seen: men in whose hands are whips like the tails of cattle, with which they beat the people, and women who are clothed yet naked, with their heads like the humps of camels, tilted to one side. They will not enter Paradise nor even smell its fragrance."

So by wearing the camel hump (and tight clothing, as mentioned above) you throwing your Jannah away.
Can you imagine, you won't even get the fragrance of Jannah!
We all want to ultimately attain Jannah right?
So doesn't it break your heart or terrify you that you will not attain it because of this one thing you are doing, and for what are you doing this?
For the sake of Fashion!
If you are one who wears the camel hump, or tight fitting & revealing clothing etc please STOP and make sincere Taubah.
Allah is oft Forgiving most Merciful. Its not to late.

And then theres the Make-Up.
We've become so used to using it and seeing others wearing it that we have forgotten, its actually NOT permissible to apply make up before leaving your home. For those wondering why, i posed the following question to an honourable Mufti.

Question:
Assalamualaykum.
Is it permissible for woman to apply make up before leaving the home.?
If not, please give the reason.
Jazakallah Khair.

Answer: "The hadith prohibits a woman from applying strong perfume when going out. The reason for this is that it will attract the attention of menfolk. Makeup will serve the same wrong purpose of drawing the stares and looks of men. This is a common factor in make - up and perfume. Hence we will apply the same ruling to both practices. Allah knows best. "

So if you are one of the girls who like applying make up then you can apply it in your homes, but remove it when you go out.
And if you a Niqabi do NOT do up your eyes with lots of make up. Because if your eyes are beautified then it will attract the attention of men, and that is HARAAM.

And on the topic of perfume, here is the hadith that says its NOT permissible.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Any woman who puts on perfume then passes by people so that they can smell her fragrance is an adulteress (zaaniyah)."
Another narration states
"Every eye is an adulterer (by looking at non-mehram woman) and a woman is like an adulteress when she wears perfume and walks by men"

Do you really want to have the title of Zaaniyah (adulteress) ??
Do you want to receive the same punishments (in this world and in Jahannam) that they (adulterers) will ?
I seriously dont think so.
So please stop applying Make-Up and perfume when going out (Shopping, Visiting, Weddings, Picnics etc).

This article is NOT to Judge, its not to point fingers or shame anyone. It is simply to enlighten and correct the wrongs of myself first, and then all of my sisters.
All of us, myself included are guilty of committing one of the above mentioned Sins at some point in our life.

We are all human, and we get seduced by the glamour of this Dunya. We fall for shaytaans traps, and we indulge in countless sins.
But sadly we no longer regard them as sins, .
many a time we try and make a haraam into something that is permissible (نعوذ بالله) . Or we simply don't care if its Permissible or not, everyone's doing it, so we follow blindly. Because we don't wanna be drab or a spoil sport.
We don't want people to view us as "Pious" nowdays, because then no one wants to associate with you, because you "to strict".
We need to throw this harmful attitude away and change our lives
Pleasing our creator needs to become our priority in life.

I don't want to go to Jahannam.
And i do not want any of my Beloved sisters to be sent there either.
So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take heed to the messages in this article.
And please pass it on to other Sisters as well.
Jazakallah Khair

To all the sisters who are already in Hijab & Niqab and they're doing it 100% properly i look up to and admire you.

May Allaah grant us all the ability to practice and may He forgive all our shortcomings.
Aameen

[Qur’an - Al-Noor 24:31]
And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, headcover, apron), and to draw their veils all over Juyoobihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband’s fathers, or their sons, or their husband’s sons, or their brothers or their brother’s sons, or their sister’s sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islam), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of feminine sex. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allaah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful”

P.S.
All the good in this is from Allah and whatever is wrong is from myself and Shaytan.
Please forgive me if there are any grammatical errors.
