Oh Allah Forgive Me

I sit and contemplate, all I have done.
Haunted by my sins.
Unable to shake of the all wrong I have done.
Unable to forget the pain caused to my heart and soul.
Silently I weep, for all the times I had committed a vice, thinking no one saw me in the darkness of the night.
I was weakened by my desires, unable to fight.
How could I be so shameless, fearing not the wrath of my Rabb.
I immersed myself in activities that were useless.
Consuming valuable time that I will never get back.
And now when I look back, all I feel is regret.
I have disobeyed my Allah for so long, I had neglected to fulfil commandments that would only benefit.
I collapse, letting my tears gush forth.
How could I have been so careless, so uncaring of the one who Cared for me most.
I had turned away,
Yet He still showered on me His mercy.
I was ungrateful, unfaithful  and unmindful.
Still, He protected me, Looked after me.
Not once did He abandon me.

Oh my lord forgive me.
I have oppressed my soul,
I had been enslaved by the world.
Now all I care for is your Love,
All I yearn for is your Jannah.

Oh my Lord forgive me.
I have been misled by temporary pleasures.
Blinded by desire.
Drowning in things unpleasant.
But now I turn to you in submission.
Begging for your forgiveness.

Oh my Lord forgive me.
Without you I am nothing.
If You reject me none will accept me.
You are the most kind.
I will never stop beseeching you, nor will I lose hope in your mercy.

Oh my Lord forgive me.
I am but a humble slave of yours.
Oh Allah dispatch my fears.
Accept my tears in your path.

Oh My Lord Forgive Me.
Guide me.
Protect me.
Accept me for Deen.
Let Quraan be my companion
and let Sunnah my be my way of life.

My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who enters my house believing, and the believing men and the believing women.

Aameen Ya Rabb
