Do Not Discard Your Deen

The Sahabah رضي الله عنه went through so much torture and persecution after accepting Islam, yet they remained steadfast. They didn't falter, they didn't forsake their Deen.

Sumayya رضي الله عنه was the first martyr in Islam. She was tortured along with her family and was killed when Abu Jahal pushed his spear into the most private part of her body.

Bilal bin Rabaah رضي الله عنه was left on the hot Arabian sand, at the hottest time of the day, with boulders on his chest but he kept saying
"Ahad, Ahad" Allah is one. Allah is one..

Khabaab bin Arat رضي الله عنه was dragged across flaming pieces of wood, the only thing that put out the fire was the fat, blood and pus from his back. And he used to get beaten on his head with hot iron rods.

Yet none of them gave up their Deen.
They held on to it.
It was the most beloved thing to them.
People mocked them.
Insulted them.
Abused them.
They were opressed, and beaten.
Many lived in fear of there life.
They lived in poverty, many a time going days without any food.
Still they remained steadfast. They believed in Allah. Their faith was unwavering, they never questioned Allahs decree. They accepted every condition He sent upon them.
They persevered patiently.
And as a result their reward is Paradise. Guaranteed.
رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُُ
Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him.

They (The Sahabah) are real heroes.
They are real role models.
People we should aspire to be like.
We should name our children after them, and we should teach our children about the great personalities they are named after from a young age.

We're so busy "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" but we don't bother to learn about the Sahabah.
How far we have strayed from their example?
If you look at the Muslims today, we have become so weak.
We are willing to give our Deen away so quickly.

Someone just has to make a comment about our Hijab or Beard and its discarded.
We've reached such a time that Muslims are actually shy to practice Islam openly.
They are apologetic.
They give preference to the dress and ways of the kuffar over the ways taught by Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم and the Sahabah رضي الله عنه.

Then they say "Imaan is in the heart" or "Don't judge, you don't know what's in our hearts"

They don't seem to understand, if you had true Imaan in your heart you are supposed to HATE the ways of the kuffaar,!

You are supposed to embrace your Deen unapologetically.

You have to defend it unwaveringly.

If you really had Iman in your heart you WOULDN'T WANT to imitate sports stars and acters, actresses.
You would take the Sahabah as role models.

My heart is crying for the youth.
And for their parents for not correcting and guiding them!

Qiyaamah is so close.
The major signs can be seen everywhere.
But still we are blinded by our whims, fancies and desires.
People are dying everyday.
Still we think we'll live forever.

We are so easily swayed by Music, Movies, Sports etc.
When dajjal makes his appearance, will we be able to resist following him?

Wake up Oh Ummah.
Time is running out.

Sort out your priorities.
Put your Deen first.
Follow Sunnah.
Follow the footsteps of the Sahabah رضي الله عنه..

Take lessons from their lives and stories.

Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم said something to the effect that "My Sahabah are like guiding stars, whichever of them you follow you will be guided".

If we don't use these shining stars as guides surely we will get lost..

The clock is ticking.
Change now...
Before its to late..

We wonder why there's no Rain

Why No Rain?
The youth find Hayaa to hard, Hijab and modest clothing a thing of the past.
Immodesty now rules the masses, segregation of sexes no longer holds a place in society.
And then we wonder why there is no Rain… We need to celebrate everything , let's have a party. Birthday, Anniversary, Bridal and Baby Showers.
Who cares if it costs more than a grand, who cares if it's waste. Who cares if it's haram.  We’ll justify it all we can.
And then we wonder why there's no Rain. We've discarded the Sunnah, left our Qur’an on the shelf, forgotten our Salaah, Don't pay Zakaah. We fast only if compulsory but lack true sincerity.
And then we wonder why there's no Rain. We disrespect or elders and parents, we’re uncompassionate toward our young.
And then we wonder why there’s no Rain. Girls have to go out to study, no matter the harms they'll encounter by stepping out of their homes.
No matter the sins committed, education is to important.
And then, w…

Peace Despite The Pain

And suddenly a sense of peace descends despite the pain.
There's a light at the end of this tunnel, an end to this unbearable strain.
A new train is soon arriving, this one filled with blessing and mercy.
For verily He has promised ease after every difficulty.
And we will have happiness after we experience misery.
Today you may have felt like you cannot go on, you felt like falling, never to stand again.
But you have to realise failing is not an option.
Every test sent by Allah has a solution.
He will reveal it at the perfect moment.
Never doubt, never lose hope for surely Allah does not abandon those who hold on to His rope.
Trials are temporary.
So endure them with a beautiful patience, and Allah will shower you with His endless bounty.
Do not resort to sin, thinking it will rid you of your pain. That is the biggest mistake we make.
The cure is found only in remembrance of Your Lord. Raise your hands and make dua, plead and beg your most Merciful Allah.
Fall before Him in prostr…

First Love ❤️

We put our whole hearts into things that are temporary, and we still wonder why we end up with a broken heart.
We place our full trust in everything besides Allah, and then we wonder why things don't turn out right.
We set ourselves up for misery, heartbreak and pain by relying on and attaching ourselves to temporary things, we get attached to people, to places and to things. And when any one of the things we're attached to is taken from us, which is inevitable in this temporary abode, we become devastated, we feel like we can't carry on anymore. Everything comes crumbling down.
But it shouldn't be like that, we shouldn't be attaching ourselves to these things.

We should attach ourselves to Allah!
Because Allah is eternal.
He will always, always be with us.
You will never have to part from Him, ever.

Yes we're allowed to love things and people in the Dunya, but we shouldn't let the love overtake and control us, and yes we're allowed to feel sad and gri…
